CHART: Wal-Mart Even Bigger Than You Think
We know that Walmart is big. Big savings, big stores, big everything!
But do you have any idea at just how large of a corporation the American superstore is? The company's electric bill is larger than total U.S. states. It's square mileage of all it's stores is bigger than all of Manhattan. Since 1979 the company's stores have grown by more than 3,150%, which equals a 95% growth EACH YEAR!
Alright, enough with the numbers, take a look at the charts below. This company may specialize in “rolling back prices” but when it comes to their gargantuan size, they are anything but rolling backwards.
