Exclusive Images: Michael Moore's Vacation Home Proves He's the 1%
Michael Moore – famous for independent films like Fahrenheit 911 – has denied being part of America's one-percent. Moreover, he has spent a great deal of time convening with Occupy Wall Street activists, encouraging them to continue fighting for justice amidst the socio-economic inequalities between the 99 percenters and one-percenters.
Maybe Moore feels he can identify with these young people without jobs because he doesn't necessarily have one himself...but he's certainly accumulated some serious wealth with his books and movies over the years.
His beautiful summer home on the southeastern shore of Torch Lake permits him to live a life the 99 percenters long to experience.
Big Hollywood offers you several glimpse of Mr. Moore's dream-worthy property:

Below is an aerial view of the property located alongside the infamous turquoise waters of the “third most beautiful lake in the world.”

And a close-up:

Appraisal reviews from lakeplace.com show that property along Torch Lake run anywhere between $400,000 and $3+ million. Antrium County Community Center calculates that Moore's home is probably worth a cool million, with a fair market value of $2 million.
More from Big Hollywood:
In addition, according to statistics from 2009, Forest Home Township has no black residents. The township is roughly 98 percent white. Call that 99 percent, and Moore’s claim to be among “the 99 percent” begins to have some basis in reality.
No one begrudges Moore his wealth, but it is deceitful for him to claim poverty while encouraging class warfare among other Americans. It is also purely narcissistic and selfish for Moore to back radical and destructive socialist policies that would deny other Americans the opportunity to become as rich as he is.
