Psychics in the Stock Market
The stock market has been about as steady as the ocean during a storm...and Wall Street workers are getting scared.
So how to be sure to stand strong amid the market’s turbulence? Talk to a psychic, of course.
According to American Public Media, psychics are finding a new client base as an influx of Wall Street workers search for answers and guidance.
In Diana Spechler’s article for New York Magazine, she tells how she visited several psychics, all who reported the same thing.
And she found that workers from Wall Street were much more likely to visit psychics working from home.
She reported on one particular psychic she talked to, a woman named Rosanna Schaffer-Shaw, psychic alias Fahrusha, who was used to reading for women interested in romance.
Now, however, Spechler reports, Fahrusha is catering to the suits of New York City.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. And its clear people are panicking.
One Wall Street broker, however, won’t give in to this trend, even when the temptation can be so close by.
Jesse Bravo, a stock picker at EKN Financial in New York, is also clairvoyant.
As the Wall Street Journal reports, Bravo holds weekly séances that he calls Séance in the City, inviting anyone to join for only $20.
But he won’t allow his ability to interfere with his work, he told the Wall Street Journal:
“I want to keep both worlds as sanitized and separate as possible. The second you mix them up you open a Pandora’s box, and I don’t know the price of that.”
But just about any other Wall Street broker would give anything to be clairvoyant right about now. No one can tell where the market will go next – at least not the mortal.+1
